Edythe Elizabeth Mccown

Edythe Elizabeth McCown, age 73 years, of Trenton, NJ, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Royal Health Gate in Trenton, NJ.

Born in Somerville, NJ, September 18, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Robert Edward and Martha Elizabeth Pyatt Rippert. She had resided in the Flemington area all her life.

A graduate of Flemington High School, she was formerly a Home Health Care Aide. She enjoyed going to the beach and spending time with her friends and family.

Edythe was predeceased by her grandson, Eric Robert Scheier, in 2016. Surviving are her son, Lawrence Robert Scheier, of Bloomingdale, NJ; her granddaughters, Elizabeth Scheier of Ringoes, NJ, and Abbie Scheier of Robbinsville, NJ; her companion, Jim Martin, of Trenton, NJ; her special friend, Priscilla Holice, of Trenton, NJ; and her three great-grandchildren: Parker Scheier, Bryce Tarantino, and Gabriel Bencivengo.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
