Eileen G. Martin, age 86 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at her home.

Born in Flemington, NJ, February 29, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Rose Spinner Godown. She had been a lifelong resident of the Flemington area.

Eileen was a graduate of Flemington High School and the Newark Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing. A Registered Nurse, Eileen was formerly a private duty nurse, and later owned and operated her own home health care service. She was formerly the Plant Nurse for Ethyl-Visqueen, Flemington, NJ.

She attended Heritage Baptist Church, and was an active swimmer at the Hunterdon County YMCA for many years.

Her son, Edward R. Martin, Jr., died in 2006. Surviving are her husband of sixty-four years, Edward R. Martin; a daughter and son-in-law, Erin and Jerry Kalajian, of Flemington, NJ; a sister, Lorraine Bramble, of Flemington, NJ; and her three grandchildren: John, Eva, and Julie Kalajian.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 1 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
