E.K. Kovach

E.K. "Kathi" Kovach, age 59 years, of Raritan Township, died on March 8, 2005, at her residence.

Born in New Brunswick, NJ, August 20, 1945, daughter of Eugenia Ponciroli Berta of Edison, NJ, and the late Alexander Berta, she had formerly resided in North Brunswick, NJ, and South River, NJ.

She owned and operated Professional Show Services; a trade show coordination company. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church, Pittstown, NJ, and its' Altar and Rosary Society. She was a member of Mt. Zion Chapter #116, Order of the Eastern Star, Metuchen, NJ.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, are a daughter, Kathryn Kovach; a son, P.J. Kovach and his wife, Rhonda, of Denver, CO; a sister and her husband, Maria and Laszio Soos of Milford, NJ; and three brothers, Fred Berta and his wife Phyllis of Cornelius, NC, Alex Berta of Gilbert, AZ, and Eugene Berta of Trenton, NJ.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday at 11 AM in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Pittstown, NJ. Interment will be private. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
