Eleanor "Millie" Bill

Eleanor Mildred Bill, age 83 years, of Flemington, NJ, died Saturday, March 11,2017, at Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Millie was born in Passaic, NJ, January 20, 1934, daughter of the late John Patrick and Eleanor Mildred McGrath Hagerty, and had resided in the Flemington area since 1975. She had formerly resided in Nutley, NJ.

A registered nurse, Millie was a graduate of Holy Name Hospital School of Nursing, Teaneck, NJ and formerly was a nurse at Foothill Acres Nursing Home, Hillsborough Township, NJ.She was a communicant of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ.

Her husband, Edward J. Bill, Sr., died in 1995. Surviving are two daughters, Peggy Ann Cirbus of Buffalo, NY and Mary Benjamin of Flemington, NJ; seven sons, Edward J. Bill, Jr. of Middle River, SC, John Bill of Tustin, CA., Tim Bill of Frenchtown, NJ, Daniel Bill of Flemington, NJ, Michael Bill of Bloomsbury, NJ, Tom Bill of Flemington, NJ and Chris Bill of Flemington, NJ.; two sisters, Mary Ballman of Plattsburg, NY and Patsy McGowan of Spring Lake, NJ; twenty-nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 12 Noon in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
