Eleanor W. Todd

Eleanor W. Todd, age 94 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022, in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born in Watchung, NJ on June 25, 1927, she was the daughter of the late James and Edith (Case) Ewing. She was a long-time Delaware Township, NJ resident, having previously lived in Watchung and Stanton, NJ. After graduating high school, she was a homemaker for most of her life, taking care of and raising her children. Eleanor was a member of the Sergeantsville United Methodist Church as well as the Delaware Township Seniors. In her younger years, she enjoyed camping throughout the Northeast, gardening, and tending to her strawberry patch. Furthermore, she enjoyed attending auctions and yard sales looking for the next diamond in the rough. In addition, she loved going out to lunch with her lady friends and she especially enjoyed her favorite television programs. This included Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, Golden Girls, and the channel MeTV, where she could watch the old westerns. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert D. Todd, who died in 1993, and her siblings: Virginia Deal, Bill Ewing, and Oliver Ewing. Surviving are her three children, Nancy (Jim) Gano, of Phillipsburg, NJ, Brenda (Dana) Fritz, of Milford, NJ, and John (Donna) Todd, of Flemington, NJ; and her three grandchildren, Timothy, Helen, and Harold. Public graveside services will take place on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at 11:00 AM in Rosemont Cemetery, Route 519, Rosemont, NJ. There are no calling hours.
