Elinor D. Armagast

Elinor D. Armagast, age 90 years, of Tewksbury Township, NJ, died on Sunday, June 19, 2005, at her residence.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, April 24, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Edward K. and Helen Liberty Davis. She had resided in Tewksbury Township, NJ for over sixty years, in the house she and her husband built.

She was a graduate of Somerville High School, Somerville, NJ. She was a homemaker.

Her husband, William L. Armagast, died in 1994 and a son, Jack D. Armagast, died in 2001. She is survived by a daughter, Jo Ann Armagast, of Tewksbury Township, NJ; a brother, Theodore Davis, of Lambertville, NJ; two sisters; Janet Thatcher of Raritan Township, NJ, and Gail Abel of Lopatcong Township, NJ; two grandchildren; Julie Marie Tanis of Blairstown, NJ, and John William Armagast of Tewksbury Township, NJ; and one great-granddaughter, Ava Madison Tanis of Blairstown, NJ.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Cherryville Cemetery, Cherryville, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
