Elizabeth “Bea” Morris Londino, age 86 years, died Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Phillipsburg Center in Phillipsburg NJ. Bea had been a Flemington resident since 1941 until moving to Phillipsburg two years ago.
Born March 30, 1930, in New Brunswick NJ, Bea was the daughter of the late Robert Dayton and Evelyn Sperling (Vanmiddlesworth) Morris. She graduated from Harcum Junior College in Bryn Mawr PA and worked for many years at the former Axelrod Pharmacy in Flemington.
Bea loved all animals, especially horses. She could be found many days riding her horse through Flemington as a young woman. Bea had a love of many types of music, her favorite was jazz and, at one time, she was an acquaintance of Count Basie, frequently attending many of his shows in New York and other places. Bea loved going to the beach, especially Long Beach Island and many trips to St. Thomas.
Bea is survived by her sister, Joan Vecchio of Washington Township NJ, her nieces, Donna Johnson, Libby Kelly, and Kris Jacobs, and her nephew, Michael Vecchio.
A memorial services are private.
Cremation services and arrangements are under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington NJ.
