Elizabeth Carey

Elizabeth Carey, age 80 years, of Readington Township, NJ, died on Thursday, July 3, 2008 in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Worcester, MA, October 11, 1927, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Flanagan Carlisle.

She was predeceased by her husband, Harold S. Carey. Surviving are four sons, Michael Carey of West Chester, PA, Kevin Carey of Union, NJ, Brian Carey of New Brunswick, NJ, and Joseph Carey of Flemington, NJ; two daughters, Mary Carey of Flemington, NJ, and Ann Rispoli of Branchburg, NJ; six grandchildren: Jeremy Carey, Jessica Carey, Michaela Pedrick, James Pedrick, Samantha Rispoli, and Kayla Rispoli; and one great grandchild.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated privately in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Whitehouse Station, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 7-9 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
