Elizabeth Ditzig

Elizabeth Ditzig, age 85 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Friday, March 27, 2009 in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Hamrod, Romania, November 28, 1923, daughter of the late Steve and Margaret Fugel Lochli, she had resided in Raritan Township for the past fifty-one years.

A longtime member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Delaware Township, NJ, she was formerly a Farmer, operating the Ditzig Chicken Farm, Raritan Township, NJ.

Surviving are her husband of sixty-five years, Joseph Ditzig; a son and daughter-in-law, Hermann J. and Bee Wan Ditzig in Singapore; a daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Joseph Unger of Raritan Township, NJ; three grandchildren, Christopher and his wife Marianne Unger, Kathleen Ditzig and Marlene Ditzig; and a great-grandson, Daniel Unger.

Funeral Services wil be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home.
