Elizabeth E. Smith

Elizabeth E. Smith, age 85 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township.

Born in Klinesville, NJ, September 23, 1935, daughter of the late William and Maryellen Rake Smith, Betty had resided in Hunterdon County all her life, most recently at Independence Manor, Raritan Township.

She was a 1953 graduate of Flemington High School and was formerly an electronics assembler at RCA, Bridgewater Township, NJ.

Her husband Maurice Smith, died in 2015, and she was also pre-deceased by twelve siblings.

Surviving are two sisters, Hazel Novak of Princeton Junction, NJ and Edith Thatcher of Califon, NJ.

Cremation services and interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
