Elizabeth Jean Weinblatt, 69, of Juno Beach, Florida (formerly of Bethlehem Twp, NJ) died peacefully on Wednesday, February 18th following a 3 year battle with lung and brain cancer.

A Memorial Mass celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, March 7th at 10 am at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church, 10970 Jack Nicklaus Drive, North Palm Beach Florida.

Elizabeth was born in Exeter, NH in 1939, daughter of the late Charles King and Mary Bargiel Shelton. She attended the University of New Hampshire and graduated from Kean University in NJ. She was a substitute teacher in Hunterdon County, NJ and managed her husband’s law office in Flemington, N.J.

Elizabeth enjoyed playing tennis on the Palm Beach County Women’s Tennis

Association League for many years, where she also served as captain and co-captain.

Elizabeth was the beloved wife of the late Seymour Weinblatt , and beloved mother of the late Mark Waser. She is also predeceased by her sister Catherine and brother James.

She is survived by her beloved son and his wife Eric and Camille Waser and beloved grandchildren Brittany and Eric Mark Waser of Lebanon, NJ. She is also survived by stepchildren Jeffrey and Jan Weinblatt, her sisters Mrs. Louise Smith of Pocasset, Ma., Mrs. Mary Frances Cornelius of Henderson, Ky, Ms Patricia Shelton of Fort Lauderdale, Fl. and Mrs. Genevieve Trudelle of Claxton, Ga. and brothers Frank Shelton of North Palm Beach, Fl. Richard Shelton of Newmarket, N.H. and Robert Shelton of Dover, N.H. and Lake Park, Fl. She will be missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Interment will be at the Riverside Cemetery in Tequesta, Fl. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Please visit www.holcombefisher.com for further information, or to send condolences.
