Elizabeth Kuntz, age 97 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died on Monday, August 29, 2016 at her home.
Born in Trenton, NJ, on May 8, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Rosalia Lea Kuntz. Elizabeth grew up on the family farm in Rocktown, NJ and graduated from Rider College. She began her career at General Motors in West Trenton, NJ when they were building Grumman Avenger Torpedo Bombers for WWII.
Elizabeth retired in 1981 from General Motors where she was an Executive Secretary. She practiced horticulture and always made sure her home was surrounded by plants and flowers. She was a one-of-a-kind aunt who selflessly dedicated her life to her many nieces and nephews and their children; always there with a smile to lend a hand. She was a genuine delight to her family.
She was predeceased by her brothers Matthew Kuntz, Frank Kuntz, John Kuntz, Adam Kuntz and Joseph Kuntz and sisters Eva Winkler, Madeline Kurylo, and Marion Kuntz. Surviving is her sister Rosalie Coleman, of Milford, NJ and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and burial in Amwell Ridge Cemetery, Larison’s Corner, NJ will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
