Elizabeth R. Vernon

Elizabeth R. Vernon, age 79 years, of Readington Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, June 21, 2005, at her residemce.

Born in Plainfield, NJ, September 22, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Matilda Block Lant. She had resided in Readington Township, NJ since 1970.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Andrew "Boot" Vernon; a son, Joe Vernon, and a daughter, Sabina Vernon. She is survived by a son, Ray Vernon, of Readington Township, NJ; a grandson, Andrew J. Vernon, of Frenchtown, NJ, and a granddaughter, Kelley Vernon, of Frenchtown, NJ.

Graveside services will be held on Friday at 1 PM in the Fairview Cemetery, Westfield, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
