Elizabeth Sabo

Elizabeth Sabo, age 83 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ, June 4, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth Smith Luster.

Betty had formerly worked at the Hunterdon Medical Center and was a homemaker.

She was predeceased by her husband, Milton Sabo, in 2009; her son, Frank Sabo; her daughter, Krystal Sabo; her grandson, Scott Sabo; and her siblings: Mary Hagerty, Margaret Brandt, Barbara Taylor, Donald Luster, and Larry Luster.

Surviving are her children: Michael Sabo of Flemington, NJ, Katherine Bassett of Ringoes, NJ, and Milton “Pete” Sabo of Flemington, NJ; two sisters, Joyce Nagy of Port Murray, NJ and Patricia Oliver of Montrose, CO; her brothers, Frank Luster of Ringoes, NJ, Jonathan Luster of Deerfield, VA, and Rich Luster of Flemington, NJ; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 15, 2016 from 7-9 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Private services for the family will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at the funeral home.
