Elizabeth T. Wenzel

Elizabeth T. Wenzel, age 103 years, of Pinehurst, NC ., died Monday, March 27, 2017, there.

Born in Somerville, NJ, November 2, 1913, daughter of the late George and Clara Lane Taylor, she had formerly resided in Centerville, NJ, Kansas City, Kansas, and in Merritt Island, Florida.

She was formerly employed by the Internal Revenue Service, Kansas City, and was a member of the Pinehurst United Methodist Church.

Her husband, William Wenzel, Sr, died in 1999.

Surviving are two daughters, Christine Anderson of Flemington, NJ, and Marilyn Ubel of Frenchtown, NJ; a son, William Wenzel, Jr. of Merritt Island, Fl.; six grandchildren, Brian Anderson and his wife Tracie, Kevin Anderson, Donna Mummert and her husband, John, Jennifer Ubel, Frederick Ubel, Jr. and Ken Harding; and ten great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Friday, April 7, 2017, at 12:30 PM in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Friday 11:30 AM-12:30 PM at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Memorial contributions may be made to Pinehurst United Methodist Church, 4111 Airport Road, Pinehurst, NC 28374.
