Elizabeth W. MacLean, age 94 years, died on Friday, October 24, 2008 in Foothill Acres Nursing Home, Hillsborough Township, NJ.
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, October 3, 1914, daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Watson Robertson, she had resided in Manchester Township since 1979 and had formerly resided in Ringoes, NJ for twenty-seven years.
Mrs. MacLean was employed at the Firestone Library of Princeton University until her retirement in 1979. She was a line dancing instructor at Crestwood Village, Whiting, NJ and was also a member of its Woman's Club and its Golf Club.
Her husband, Joseph MacLean, died in 1981.
Surviving are a daughter, Elizabeth Alexander of East Amwell Township, NJ; four sisters, Amelia Newman of Bellingham, WA, Rachel Blodgett of Zeeland, MI, Agnes Bendeckson of Calgary, Canada and Sarah Aitken of The Villages, FL; three grandchildren, Roy Alexander, Marty Alexander and Lisa Alexander; and four great grandchildren, Krystal, Megan, Derrick and Taylor Alexander.
