Elizabeth Wood Runyon

Elizabeth Wood Runyon, age 90 years, of Holland, MI, died on Thursday, June 8, 2006 in Houston, TX.

Born in Neshanic, NJ, March 15, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Ellis and Fannie Wood.

She was a member of the Eastern Star, a volunteer English teacher for the City of Holland, MI and a longtime member of the Community Church of Douglas, Douglas, MI.

Mrs. Runyon was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence (Jeff) Runyon in 1988 and her dear friend Forest McClasky.

Surviving are two sons, Robert Ellis Runyon and wife Mary of Allentown, NJ and Jerald Lee Runyon and wife Marilyn of Houston, TX; seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in Neshanic Cemetery, Neshanic, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours. Please visit www.holcombefisher.com for further information or to send condolences.
