Ella E. Baker

Ella E. Baker, age 91 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, April 24, 2007, in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Terry, Montana, April 5, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Anton and Anna Kubat Matyka. She had formerly resided in Trenton, NJ, before moving to Delaware Township, NJ, in 1970.

She was a homemaker.

Her husband, Fredwin Baker, died in 1998. Surviving are a son, Robert F. Baker, of Delaware Township, NJ; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 3 PM in the Sergeantsville United Methodist Church, Sergeantsville, NJ. Interment will be private. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
