Ella Jane M. Baker

Ella Jane M. Baker, aged 75 years, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at her residence.

Born in Livingston, NJ, February 21, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Eleanor (Schick) Jones. She grew up in Short Hills, NJ and had formerly resided in Readington Township, NJ for most of her adult life.

After graduating college, she went on to work in the real estate industry. Most notably working for Baker Residential in Pleasantville, NY assisting as an agent for new construction properties.

She was a cat lover and adored her feline companion named Simba. But above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Ella Jane was predeceased by her husband, the late John L. Baker.

Surviving are two daughters, Corisa Jane Jensen (Doug), of Readington Township, NJ, and Meghan Deemer, of Phillipsburg, NJ; seven grandchildren: Emily, Elizabeth, AnneMarie, Natalie, Jack, Ryan, and Caitlyn; as well as her siblings, Carol Adamson, of Kendall Park, NJ, and William Jones (Diane), of Florida.

Graveside services and burial next to her late husband in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield, NJ will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822.
