Ellen O. Darish

Ellen O. Darish, age 80 years, of Clinton Township, NJ, died Saturday, July 20, 2024, at her home.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, on November 10, 1943, Ellen was the daughter of the late John and Anne McAllister Korpita, she had formerly resided in Middlesex, NJ.

An avid Yankees baseball fan, Ellen enjoyed watching old western television shows and Jeopardy.

She is pre-deceased by her husband, Joseph J. Darish in 2006 and one brother, George Korpita in 1977.

Surviving are her two sons, Jason A. Darish, and his wife, Shannon of Chesapeake, VA, and Jeffrey M. Darish, and his wife, Kelly of Flemington, NJ; two sisters, Diane Korpita-Moses and her husband, James of Hamilton Square, NJ, and Jacqualine R. Schmitt and her husband, Raymond of Parsippany, NJ, and four grandchildren, Madelyn and Luke Darish and Danny and Jake Darish.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Magdalen Cemetery, North Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, from 9:30-11:00 AM in the funeral home.
