Ellen R. Culberson

Ellen R. Culberson, age 56 years, of Easton, PA, died on Friday, November 19, 2010, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Kodiak, AK, April 24, 1954, she was the daughter of Stephen and Ruth Zdepski. She had resided in Hunterdon County, NJ for most of her life.

She was a 1973 graduate of Delaware Valley High School and attended Bloomfield College and Trenton State College.

She most recently worked at Kathee's General Store, Frenchtown, NJ. Early in life, Ellen worked at Magnetics and Controls, Rosemont, NJ, Plessey in Frenchtown, NJ; The Chute Shop and the Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ.

Her greatest joys were her son, myriad of friends-young and old; her family, faith and church family. She loved to sing, laugh, cook and bake, and spend time with those she loved. She also avidly played various kinds of puzzle games.

In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by a brother, S. Gregory Zdepski. Surviving are a son, Stephen J. of Easton, PA, four brothers and sisters-in-law: Mark and Linda of Stockton, NJ, Joel and Jane of Mountain View, CA, Paul and Noelle of Strasburg, VA, and James and Deborah of Holland Twp, NJ; a sister and brother-in-law: Jean and Todd Fennell of Palmer Twp, PA; 12 nieces and nephews; and her former husband Kenneth Culberson.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday at 2 PM in Shepherd Of The Valley Church, 45 Spring Mills Road, Milford, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private.
