Elma S. Culberson

Elma S. Culberson, age 95 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Monday, October 23, 2017 in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Lambertville, NJ, May 25, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ethel Yerkes Scheetz.

Mrs. Culberson had formerly worked at Hunterdon Musical Instruments and Johanna Farms, as well as being a homemaker. She was a graduate of Lambertville High School class of 1940.

Her husband, Robert W. Culberson, died in 2013. Surviving are two daughters, Shirley Stuart and her husband, Buster, of Flemington, NJ, and Nancy MacClellan and her husband, Patrick, of Lebanon, NJ; two grandchildren, Sherri Pfenninger and her husband, Mark, and Chuck Stuart and his wife, Holly; four great grandchildren, Katelyn and Michael Pfenninger, and Paige and Amber Stuart.

Private family services will be held under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
