Elsa Karg

Elsa Karg, age 96 years, of Clinton Township, NJ, died on Thursday, December 21, 2006, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Solingen, Germany, September 26, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Lydia Nouvertne Sann.

She was a homemaker who came to the United States in 1928, and had formerly resided in Branchburg, NJ, Union, NJ, and Mountainside, NJ. She was an original member of the Branchburg Senior Citizens Club.

Her husband, Karl A. Karg, died in May of this year. Surviving are a son, Ronald Karg of Jackson, NJ; a daughter, Linda Loss of Franklin Township, Hunterdon County, NJ; a brother, Richard Sann of Union, NJ; eight grandchildren, Elise Pelley, Ronald Karg, Patricia Karg, Robert Loss, William Loss, Stephen Loss, James Karg, and Debra McManus; and fifteen great-grandchildren, Calvin, Adam, Julia, Alex, Eric, Kyle, Evan, Sam, Allison, Kacey, Isaac, Maria, Danny, Nicholas, and Alyssa.

Funeral arrangements and interment will be private in Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
