Emil R. Svoboda, Sr.

Emil R. Svoboda, Sr., age 75 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Sunday, February 5, 2006, in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in North Hempstead, NY, he was the son of the late Melicbar and Marie Sagamek Svoboda. He had resided in Hunterdon County most of his life.

He was a retired cinema projectionist. He enoyed hunting, snowmobiling, remodeling homes, and restoring vehicles.

He was a member of Flemington Elks Lodge #1928.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, June Timberlake Svoboda; two sons; Emil R. Svoboda, Jr., of Flemington, NJ, and Michael Svoboda, of Flemington, NJ; a daughter, Cheryl Svoboda, of Lumberville, PA; and three grandchildren.

Funeral Services and interment will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will no calling hours.
