Emilia Zachar Brozman, age 94 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, June 15, 2010.
Born in Yonkers, NY, February 24, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Anna Brza Zachar. She was a longtime resident of Sandbrook and Stockton, and a retiree of New Port Richey, FL.
She was a charter member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Flemington, NJ. She co-taught sewing, canning, freezing, and gardening at 4-H.
She worked as a seamstress for many years at the Flemington Fur Company, and later worked as an assistant cook at Hunterdon Central High School.
She was pre-deceased by her brothers Samuel and Robert Zachar, and by a twin sister at birth. Surviving are her beloved husband of sixty-seven years, Milan Brozman. She was the devoted mother of Beverly (William) Flipse of Wantagh, NY and Richard (Carol) Brozman of Delaware Township, NJ; cherised grandmother to Beatrice and Christine Flipse, Melissa Grimes, and Kevin Waring; great-grandmother to Jenna, Emma, Hannah, and Carter; and aunt to many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM in the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 10-11 AM in the church. Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 201 Route 31, Flemington, NJ 08822.
