Emily E. Fitzer

Emily E. Fitzer, age 71 years, of East Bangor, PA, died on Thursday, September 11, 2014 in St. Luke's Hospice House, Lower Saucon Township, PA. Born in Kingwood Township, NJ, December 20, 1942, daughter of the late Louis Godown, Sr. and Louise Van Horn Godown, she was a lifelong Hunterdon County resident prior to moving to PA three years ago. She was employed for many years by New Hope Bag Mill, New Hope, PA. Surviving are a son, Christopher Scott Fitzer of East Bangor, PA; three daughters, Jenny French of Cuba, NY, Shirley D'Amico of Flemington, NJ and Elizabeth Myers of Frenchtown, NJ; a brother, Robert Godown, Sr. of East Bangor, PA; and four grandchildren, Marc, Sherry, Corwin and Amber. Graveside Memorial Services will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Rosemont Cemetery, Route 519, Rosemont, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
