Emma Bachardy

Emma Bachardy, age 85 years, died on Saturday, August 13th, 2005 in the County Arch Care Center in Pittstown.

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Mary Rechuk, she was raised in New York City and spent most of her adult life on her farm in Delaware Township.

She was a dedicated worker at Ortho Pharmaceutical for over 28 years before retiring at age 63. She received numerous letters of recognition for her outstanding performance as well as her excellent attendance record.

Emma was also a member of the Delaware Township, East Amwell Township and Flemington Senior Citizen Clubs.

Her parents; Joseph and Mary Rechuk and sister Josephine Sievers predeceased her. She is survived by her two children; a daughter Dolores Drummey and James Fierro of Neshanic Station and a son William Bachardy and his wife Jeanne of Pennsylvania, four grandchildren; Richard and his wife Barbara of Virginia, Darcey and her husband Christopher of Pennsylvania, David and his wife Amanda of Flemington and Theresa and her husband, Joseph of Flemington and also seven Great Grandchildren.

She was admired for her strength, courage and determination and was deeply loved by her family and many friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 20th, 2005 beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, New Jersey.
