Emma V. Noone

Emma V. Noone, age 91 years, of Flemington, NJ, died Saturday, October 8, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Elizabeth NJ, March 23, 1931, daughter of the late Ignacio and Ignacia Hernandez Velasco, Emma had formerly resided in Rahway, NJ where she raised her family, then in Neshanic Station, NJ before moving to the Flemington area in 2008.

She was an administrative assistant for many years with Exxon Corp, retiring in 1995.

Emma was an avid reader who enjoyed traveling, art and music. She also loved being a hostess and was a great cook.

Her husband, Robert Noone, Sr. died in 2010 and a son, Robert Noone, Jr. died in 1974.

Surviving are four children, Patricia Haden of Flemington, NJ, Michael Noone of Clark, NJ, Judy Noone of Key West, FL, and Maureen Brunner of Flemington, NJ; a brother, Miguel Velasco of Colonia, NJ; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at 11:00 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ. Calling hours will be Monday, October 10, 2022, 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM at the funeral home.
