Engelbert S. Ecker, Sr.

Engelbert S. Ecker, Sr., age 95 years, of Kingwood Township, NJ, died on Sunday, March 16, 2014 in the Valley View Care Center, Alexandria Township, NJ.

Born in Little Valley, NY, August 20, 1918, he was the son of the late Joseph and Ivanka Hudovernik Ecker.

He was a lifelong farmer in Kingwood Township.

Surviving are a son, Engelbert Ecker, Jr., of Easton, PA; two sisters, Hilda Hewitt of Clearbrook, VA and

Theresa Kusant of Stockton, NJ; and a brother, Henry Ecker, of Nickelsville, VA.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 7:30 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6-7:30 PM in the funeral home.
