Eric R. Szabo

Eric R. Szabo, age 35 years, of East Amwell Township, NJ, died on Friday, December 25, 2009.

Born in Edison, NJ, March 22, 1974, he was the beloved son of Patricia A. Zilavetz Szabo of East Amwell Township, NJ and the late Richard A. Szabo. He had resided in East Amwell Township for the past year, having formerly lived in San Diego, CA.

A Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Eric was honorably discharged at the rank of Lance Corporal. He was currently working as a mechanic for Flemington Buick, Chevrolet & GMC, Flemington, NJ.

A member of Central Hunterdon Baptist Church, Eric’s greatest joy was being a devoted father to his beloved son, Aaron Jonas (A.J.) Szabo, of East Amwell Township, NJ.

His father, Richard A. Szabo, died in 2008.

Surviving, in addition to his cherished mother and adored son, are his loving brother, Jason R. Szabo of Woodbridge, NJ; his dear maternal grandmother, Stella Zilavetz of East Amwell Township, NJ; and his special aunt, Judy Szabo of Manahawkin, NJ.

Funeral Services will take place Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Wertsville, NJ.
