Estelle L. Bevis

Estelle L. Bevis, age 90 years, of East Amwell Township, NJ, died on Monday, September 13, 2010 at her home.

Born in West Amwell Township, NJ, November 19, 1919, daughter of the late George and Lydia Ross Parsons, she had been a lifelong resident of Hunterdon County.

A former LPN at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ, Mrs. Bevis was a member of Old Rocks Church, West Amwell Township, NJ and of the Linvale United Methodist Church.

A son, James Bevis, died in 1993 and a daughter, Shirley Riemenschniter, died in 2000.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Barbara Bevis of East Amwell Township, NJ; a brother, Leslie Parsons of Hopewell, NJ; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will take place Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Old Rocks Church, Mt. Airy-Harbourton Road, West Amwell Township, NJ. Interment will follow in Old Rocks Cemetery.
