Services for Eugene C. Luksza Sr., 65, of Flemington will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Holcombe- Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Flemington. Interment will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery in Quakertown.
Mr. Luksza, who died Saturday in the Huntington Regional Cancer Center in Flemington, was a welder and maintenance mechanic for the Bemis Bag Co. in Flemington for 10 years before retiring in 1998. Previously, he was a welder and maintenance mechanic for Johns-Manville Corp. in Manville for 27 years.
He attended the Academy of Aeronautics at La Guardia Airport in New York City.
He served in the Navy during the Korean War aboard the U.S.S. Midway with the Seventh Fleet.
He was a member of the Johns-Manville Century Club in Manville.
Born in South River, he lived in Middlesex and Piscataway before moving to Flemington 37 years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Eleanor; three sons, Eugene C. Jr., Edward C. and David P.; two brothers, Matthew and Ralph; two sisters, Marion and Mrs. Leonardine Schultz, and two grandchildren.
