Eva S. Emmons, age 90 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Saturday, September 3, 2011, in Independence Manor where she had recently resided.
Born in Ringoes, NJ, April 10, 1921, daughter of the late Frank and Marion Brewer Lambert, she had resided in Hunterdon County all her life.
A homemaker, she was also formerly employed by the Locktown Sweater Shop for several years.
She was a member of the Cornerstone Christian Church, Locktown, NJ.
Her husband Lawrence Emmons died in 1996, a sister Doris Culberson died in 2000, and a brother Orville Lambert died September 2, 2011.
Surviving are a daughter, Wendy Krachun of Somerville, NJ; a son, Barry L. Emmons of Milford, NJ; a sister, Alice Everitt of Ringoes, NJ; a brother, Thomas Lambert of Stockton, NJ, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ, followed by burial in Rosemont Cemetery, Rosemont, NJ. Calling hours will be Wednesday 7:00-9:00 p.m.
