Evelyn A. Hall

Evelyn A. Hall, age 89 years, of Three Bridges, NJ, died on Saturday, November 4, 2006, at her residence.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, October 19, 1917, she was the daughter of the late George and Elsie Bley Strimple.

A homemaker, she was a Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Three Bridges Fire Company. She was a member of the Three Bridges Reformed Church, and was a 1937 graduate of Flemington High School.

Her husband, Orville S. Hall, died in 1990, and a brother, Garwood Strimple, died in 2005. Surviving are two daughters, Nancy Plennert of Raritan Township, NJ, and Evelyn Gruchacz of Three Bridges, NJ; a sister, Bernice Storr of Flemington, NJ; a brother, Clifford Strimple of Raleigh, NC; five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Clover Hill Cemetery, Clover Hill, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
