F. Lorraine Rowny

F. Lorraine Rowny, age 86 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, November 1, 2005, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township,NJ, December 3, 1918,

She was the daughter of the late Charles and Ida Apgar MacGuigan. She had formerly resided in North Branch, NJ.

She was formerly employed by the Visiting Homemakers Services of Somerset County, NJ, and also worked part-time at the Hunterdon Theater, Flemingtion, NJ.

She was a volunteer for many years at the Hunterdon Medical Center; was a member of the Orion Chapter #177, Order of the Eastern Star, Frenchtown, NJ; was a member of the Kitchen Band which entertained senior citizens, and was an avid bowler and theatergoer.

Her husband, Michael Rowny, died in 2001. Surviving are four daughters; Barbara Pentlicki of Dickson, TN, Joan Levering of Neshanic Station, NJ, Roberta Tubertini of Flemington, NJ, and Ruth Dubinski of Ambler, PA; six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 3 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
