Faith E. Droppa

Faith E. Droppa (94) joined her husband Victor in eternal peace in paradise on Monday, January 3, 2022 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale PA. Daughter of the late Albert and Anna Hommer, Faith and Victor grew up and raised their family in the beautiful rolling hills of Hunterdon County surrounding Quakertown, NJ before moving in retirement to the lush Pocono mountains of Honesdale, PA. They celebrated 58 years of marriage in 2008. Faith was a true entrepreneur operating a successful pet shop, fabric store, deli, and restaurant in Quakertown, Clinton, Flemington, and Washington, NJ prior to creating her consignment shop near Beach Lake, PA. Faith enjoyed a good cup of coffee, all birds and animals, sewing, flowers, and nature along with many long-lasting, valued friendships. Faith is blessed and adored by her four children, David Droppa, Dianne (Rod) Hatcher, Daniel (Jill) Droppa, and Douglas (Denise Dean) Droppa, along with five wonderful grandchildren, and eight amazing great-grandchildren. Faith is lovingly remembered by her sisters Grace Koller and Anna Hoffman, and numerous nieces and nephews. Waiting to joyfully greet her in heaven are Victor, her parents, her sisters Irene Horvath and husband Joseph, Almeda Hurst and husband, Charles, brother, Ernest Hommer and wife, Harriett, as well as brothers-in-law, Richard Hoffman and Robert Koller. Funeral services for Faith will be at 12 noon on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington NJ. Interment will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery in Quakertown NJ. Calling hours will be Saturday morning from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
