Florence E. Rake

Florence E. Rake, age 83 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Sunday, September 9, 2012, in the Country Arch Care Center, Union Township, NJ.

Born in Flemington, NJ, March 21, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Asa and Eva Danberry Seals.

She worked for Mannon Excavating, Flemington, NJ for thirty years and was a member of the Flemington Baptist Church.

Her husband, Harry Rake, Jr. died in 1984, and a son, Roger Rake, died in 2005. Surviving are two sisters, Emma Enea and Thelma Kentnor, both of Flemington, NJ; a brother, Ron Seals, of Forty Fort, PA; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 2 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Frenchtown Cemetery, Frenchtown, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 1-2 PM in the funeral home.
