Florence Loizeaux Ritchie

Florence Loizeaux Ritchie, age 82 years, of Bay Head, NJ, died on Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at the home of her daughter in Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Plainfield, NJ, May 26, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Frederick D. and Ruth Baldwin Loizeaux. She had formerly resided in Plainfield, NJ, and in Bay Head, NJ. She was a homemaker.

She was an active volunteer in the Plainfield, NJ area, moving to Bay Head, NJ on a part-time basis in 1950, and full time in 1978. She was an avid tennis player and golfer.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, David E. Ritchie, in 1995, and by a daughter, Patricia Walker, and brother, David Loizeaux. Surviving are a son, Peter Ritchie of Vero Beach, FL; a daughter, Kim Bahnsen of Raritan Township, NJ; a sister, Bernice Swain of Plainfield, NJ, and nine grandchildren.

Funeral Services and interment will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
