Florence M. Srope

Florence M. Srope, age 92 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Ringoes, NJ, June 5, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Charles B. and Elizabeth Daniel Wilson. She had resided most of her life in Delaware Township, NJ.

She had formerly worked in the Delaware Township School cafeteria.

Her husband, Jerdon Srope, died in 1982, and she was also pre-deceased by a sister, Blanche Genevera DeLeone in 1995. Surviving are a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Cardinal of Lakeland, FL ; a son, Richard E. Harned of Butte, MT; eight grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held on Monday in the Rosemont Cemetery, Rosemont, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 1-2 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
