Florence S. Fisher passed away on April 26, 2021 peacefully at CareOne at Somerset Valley in Bound Brook NJ. She was 92 years old.
Born September 5, 1928 In Wilkes Barre PA, Florence was the daughter of the late Alfred and Elizabeth (Smith) Smalls. Florence was a 1947 graduate of GAR Memorial High School in Wilkes Barre, and moved to the Flemington NJ area in 1960, living in Deerpath Village, Flemington NJ and Hunters Crossing, Three Bridges NJ.
Florence studied business and real estate at Somerset (now Raritan Valley) Community College and became a real estate agent with Weichert Realtors. She also worked for Flemington Furs for many years.
Florence was a lover of travel, singing, gardening, theater, dance and the arts. She was a member and active in organizations in Flemington including the PTA, the Flemington Woman’s Club, where she was a past president, the Hunterdon Garden Guild, and the Hunterdon County Historical Society.
In addition to her parents, Florence was predeceased by her husband, Joseph C Fisher. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Geoffrey and Debbie of Abington, PA, her son Richard and Partner Jeanne Quintile of Mountainville NJ, her two grandsons, Kevin and Sean, and her granddaughter, Heather, as well as her brother, Robert Smalls of Wilkes Barre, PA, and her sister, Ann Gorham of Reading, PA.
Cremation services and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington NJ. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Please continue to check www.holcombefisher.com for further information or to leave an online condolence.
