Frances H. Anderson, age 97 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Saturday, September 1, 2007 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born December 4, 1909 in Kansas City, MO, she was the daughter of the late Maximilian and Theresa Schriener Hoedl and had resided in Flemington since 1993. Prior to that she lived in Reno, NV and had resided in South Bend, IN from 1940-1989.
A Homemaker, she was a Communicant of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ. Additionally she was a life member of St. Joseph's Church, South Bend, IN where she was very active in the Church's community and outreach programs.
A quintessential housekeeper, Mrs. Anderson was an avid crocheter who inspired many in the art. She was loved deeply by her family and friends.
Her husband, Richard S. Anderson, died in 1985 and a son, David S. Anderson, died in 2005.
Survivng are two sons and daughters-in-law, Denis R. and Ida Anderson of Casper, WY and Donald Q. and Lyn Anderson of Raritan Township, NJ; a daughter-in-law, Sue Anderson of Susanville, CA; a brother, Alfred Hoedl of Overland Park, KS; a sister, Angela Hoedl of Kansas City, MO; seven grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, September 7, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
