Frances L. Housel

Frances L. Housel, age 93 years, of Branchburg Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 in Foothill Acres Nursing Home, Hillsborough Township, NJ.

Born in Neshanic, NJ, June 29, 1918, daughter of the late Oliver and Sadie Kuhl Sutphin, she had resided all her life in the Neshanic Station and Three Bridges, NJ area.

She owned and operated the Housel Farm for many years on South Branch Road in Neshanic Station.

Her first husband, Walter Hart, died in 1957; her second husband, Andrew Housel, died in 1991; and her son, John Hart, died in 2011.

Surviving are a grandson, Ronald Hart; a cousin, Doris Snyder of Clover Hill, NJ; and her devoted friends, Joe and Cathy Sokolowski of Branchburg Township, NJ who still operate the farm.

Funeral Services will take place Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Clover Hill Cemetery, Clover Hill, NJ.
