Frances Popick

Frances Popick, age 89 years, of East Amwell Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, September 20, 2006, in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frances and Stanley Sliwa.

She worked for the Lipton Tea Company, Raritan Township, NJ, for many years.

Her husband, Stephen Popick, died in 1998, and a son, Stanley Popick, died in 1981. She is survived by a son, Robert Popick, of Vergennes, VT; two daughters, Stephanie Henkel of New York State, and Janice Jason of Ringoes, NJ; nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 7-9 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
