Frances R. Krieg

Frances R. Krieg, age 83 years, of Reaville, NJ (Raritan Township), died Friday, January 6, 2017, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born June 19, 1933, daughter of the late Alfred and M. Margaret Voorhees Rogers, she had resided in Reaville, NJ, for sixty years. Fran was a 1951 graduate of Somerville High School and for many years was the bookkeeper for Krieg Electric, Reaville, NJ. She also was formerly employed at CVS Pharmacy, Route 31, Flemington, NJ. Fran was a longtime volunteer at the Flemington Food Pantry and was a former member of the Soroptimist Club of Hunterdon County. Her husband, William E. Krieg, died in 2013; a daughter, Wendy Miller, died in 1995; a sister, Joan Herder, died in 1980 and a brother, Alfred Rogers, died in 2005. Surviving are a daughter, Joni Krieg of Flemington, NJ; a son, William Krieg, Jr. of Seaford, DE.; and four grandchildren, Michele Miller, Amie Walsh, Hannah White and Rachel Krieg. Graveside services will be private on Friday in Harbourton Cemetery, Harbourton, NJ.
