Frances Van Ness

Frances Van Ness, age 105 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died Saturday, April 27, 2019, at River's Edge Rehab Center, Raritan, NJ.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ, November 25, 1913, daughter of the late Emil and Francesca Kolbe Schaefer, she had resided in Delaware Township since 1968.

A homemaker, she was also formerly employed as a cashier by W T Grant Co., Succasunna, NJ.

Surviving are a daughter, Shirley Van Ness and a son, Richard Van Ness, both of Delaware Township, NJ. Her husband, Norman L. Van Ness, died in 1984.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at 1:00 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Wednesday 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
