Frank J. Garrett, age 85 years, of Flemington, NJ, died Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Newark, NJ, February 27, 1933, son of the late Frank and Helen Oneidas Garrett, he had resided in the Flemington area most of his life.
A 1951 graduate of Flemington High School, he was a US Army veteran of the Korean War.
Frank was first employed by A&P Stores, then was self-employed and operated Krauszer's Market, and later was employed by Jericho Golf Club, Bucks County, PA.
Frank was an avid golfer and was a member of Flemington VFW Post and the Flemington Elks Lodge.
His wife Barbara Schutts Garrett, died in 2009.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Randy Titus of Falcon, CO.; a granddaughter, Casey Rubin and her husband, George, of Calhan, CO.; two great grandchildren, Trevor Rubin and Garrett Rubin; three brothers, Richard Garrett and Norman Garrett, both of West Palm Beach, FL. and Dennis Garrett of Costa Rica; and a sister, Maureen Garrett, of West Palm Beach, FL.
Calling hours will be Thursday, March 29, 2018, 7:00-9:00 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center, 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822
