Frank J. Zengel

Frank J. Zengel, age 58 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died on Saturday, January 7, 2006, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, August 10, 1947, he was the son of John Zengel, Sr. of Delaware Township, NJ, and the late Margaret Reynolds Zengel. He was a lifeolong resident of Delaware Township, NJ.

He was employed for many years with Johanna Foods, Raritan Township, NJ.

He was a United States Army veteran serving from 1967-1969.

He was a 1965 graduate of Hunterdon Central High School, Flemington, NJ, where he was a state champion wrestler.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years, Linda Wright Zengel; three sons; Michael, and his wife Kelly, of Kingwood Township, NJ; Mark, and his wife Thyra, of East Amwell Township, NJ; and Matthew, of Delaware Township, NJ; a daughter, Michelle Totten, and her husband, Ron, of Ringoes, NJ; three brothers, John Zengel, Jr., of Pohatcong Township, NJ, Donald Zengel, of Williamsburg, PA, and Tom Zengel of Clinton Township, NJ; six sisters; Margaret Fasanello, of Glen Gardner, NJ, Joy Mina, of Kingwood Township, NJ, Linda Yasunas, of Delaware Township, NJ, Annie Gromlowicz, of Delaware Township, NJ, Marie Zengel, of Frenchtown, NJ, and Rachel Nichols, of Lopatcong Township, NJ; and eight grandchioldren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 AM in Our Lady of Victories Church, Baptistown, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Rosemont Cemetery, Rosemont, NJ. Calling hours will be private.
