Frank Sheriff, Jr.

Frank Sheriff, Jr. age 99 years, of Hopewell Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 in Capital Health Systems, Fuld Campus, Trenton, NJ.

Born in Plainfield, NJ, August 2, 1911, son of the late Frank and Mary Della Cava Sheriff, Sr., he had resided in Hopewell Township since 1976, having formerly lived in East Amwell Township, NJ.

A United States Army Air Corps. Veteran, he served from 1933-1938. He was a retired, self-employed building contractor.

His wife, Helen Dervas Sheriff, died in 1998.

Surviving are a son, Frank Sheriff of Pennsauken, NJ; a granddaughter, Alexandra Sheriff of Pennsauken, NJ; and a brother, Robert Sheriff in Florida.

Funeral Services will take place Friday at 10:00 a.m. in St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1200 Klockner Road, Trenton, NJ. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery, Hopewell, NJ.
