Franklin H. Rozzo

Franklin H. Rozzo, age 83 years, of Clinton Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, at his residence.

Born in Cherryville, NJ, January 31, 1925, he was the son of the late Joseph and Reba Haver Rozzo. He was a longtime resident of Quakertown, NJ, before moving to Clinton Township, NJ in 2005.

He was the retired Municipal Clerk of Franklin Township, Hunterdon County, NJ, after thirty-five years of service. He also was employed by Hunterdon Transformer Comapny, Quakertown, NJ, for twenty-three years.

He was a United States Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.

He was a member of the Quakertown United Methodist Church, the Quakertown Fire Department Exempt Firemans Association, and was an avid horseshoe player. He was also an excellent baseball player for the Quakertown team in the Tri-County League.

Surviving are his wife, E. Jane Rynearson Rozzo; two daughters, Lisa Rozzo of West Deptford, NJ, and Lynda Whitley of Port Charlotte, FL; a grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will held on Friday at 12:30 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 11 AM until time of service in the funeral home.
