Frederick J. (Fritz) Cronce, age 91 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Friday, May 7, 2010 at his home.
Born in Flemington, NJ, October 8, 1918, son of the late Frederick and Stella Fisher Cronce, he had resided in Flemington and Ringoes, NJ most of his life.
A mechanic for Trenton Transit Company, retiring in 1976, Mr. Cronce was a founding member of the Amwell Valley Ambulance Corps.
His wife of sixty-eight years, Bernice Philhouwer Cronce, died in 2008.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Frederick N. and Joann Cronce and P. Craig and Melitta Cronce, all of Ringoes, NJ; a sister, Barbara Force of Manahawkin, NJ; a brother, James Cronce in PA; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
